Native to: South East Asia
Rhaphidophora korthalsii is a shingling vine that grows flat against a surface it’s climbing. The oval, textured leaves overlap and feel rather thick to the touch. In our experience, the leaves have gotten about 2-3″ long in vivarium conditions. This plant will make a great addition to a vivarium of any size, filling in the background. Requires high humidity.
To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
