Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Skeleton Key’ is a unique vining aroid. It starts out with small leaves as pictured in the photographs. As the plant matures, the shape of the leaves changes. It will produce leaves with narrow elongated tips while the base of the leaves will remain wide, resembling a skeleton key. We have yet to see mature leaves on our specimens growing in vivarium conditions, perhaps partially due to lack of an adequate surface to climb. Still, a great, easy going plant that does well in the vivarium. Requires moderate to high humidity.
To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
