Native to: Ecuador
Type: Vine
Philodendron mamei is one of our favorite larger Philodendron species. Bold green leaves with subtle silver markings are supported by stout petioles. The petioles have a D shaped cross section which taper to nearly flat toward the base of the leaf. They also have an undulating ruffled edge. Philodendron mamei does very well in vivaria and our dart frogs seem to enjoy sitting on the leaves.
