Native to: Asia (India through Philippines and Indonesia)
Ficus villosa is a stunning, slow growing vine that does very well climbing up a background in the vivarium. The hairy foliage changes from reddish to green as it matures. Giving this species something to climb will keep it from getting leggy. The leaves will grow flat against the background and provide a great hiding spot for thumbnail species.
To get a cutting started, keep the underside of the vine in contact with a damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. Requires high humidity.
Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
