Pyrrosia christii is a really stunning epiphytic fern that does well in the vivarium. The fronds appear fuzzy with short, fine hairs and reach up to 7 inches with long stems in vivarium conditions. This is a relatively large species as a vivarium plant, so it fits best in a tall tank, at least 24″ tall. We find this fern very easy to start from a rhizome cutting.

To get a cutting started, keep the rhizome in contact with a damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire rhizome. Requires moderate to high humidity.
