Native to: Possibly Africa
Calvoa sessiliflora is a little melastome with freckled leaves that loves humidity, making it a perfect vivarium plant. It branches out readily to form a bush. If you look closer, there are trichomes on the freckles. The leaves can take on different shades of green depending on lighting. It blooms regularly with pink flowers and is self-seeding. Very little can be found about this species, but it is thought to possibly originate in Africa. Requires high humidity.
