Description

Native to: East Asia

Ficus thunbergii is also called “Oak Leaf Creeping Fig” or “String of Frogs”. This Ficus species is an excellent choice for a background cover in the vivarium. It grows relatively slowly, compared to other creeping fig species. The little leaves stay around 1/2″ long. We like to plant it epiphytically on the background of the vivarium, and it slowly spreads out and fills in nicely.

To get a cutting started, keep the underside of the vine in contact with a damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. Requires high humidity.

Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
