Native to: Ecuador
Philodendron sp. ‘Condor’ is found in cloudy forests around the habitat of Excidobates condor, that inhabits the Cordillera del Cóndor in southern Ecuador at elevations around 1400-1900 meters. This smaller Philodendron is a wonderful vining species that does well in the vivarium. The leaves have subtle venation and usually do not exceed 2.5 inches long. Requires high humidity.
To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
