Philodendron sp. ‘Mini Santiago’ is a very small species native to Ecuador with a beautiful texture on the leaves. The leaves stay small, often about the size of a dime, but can get slightly larger, almost an inch long in our experience. This true miniature Philodendron makes a wonderful terrarium plant. Requires high humidity.
To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
