Native to: Ecuador
Philodendron aff. pteropus ‘Mini’ is another small vining Philodendron. The size of the foliage is similar to that of Philodendron werneri ‘rotonda’, and slightly larger than Philodendron sp. ‘Condor’. The leaves stay 1″ – 2″ long and have a pink petiole. The fresh leaf is peach to yellow-ish olive green and gradually turns green, though lighting can affect the colors. Due to its small size and slow pace of growth, Philodendron aff. pteropus ‘Mini’ is a wonderful addition to vivaria of any size. Requires moderate to high humidity.
To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with a damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
Please feel free to message us if you have any concern or question about rooting a cutting.
